Why it wins

Four things
you can't copy.

Most cushions sell coverage. Coverage is easy. Looking like you're not wearing anything is the hard part.

The mushroom dome

A curved velvet head has no edges, so there's nothing to leave a line. One press per cheek. It stipples instead of dragging, which is why the finish reads airbrushed rather than painted.

Water first, pigment second

It pours like a serum, not a paste. High water content means it sinks in and reflects instead of sitting in your texture. No cakey nose at 2pm, no cracking around your smile.

One shade, on purpose

Encapsulated pigment breaks on contact with skin warmth and settles into your undertone. That's why there's no shade grid to get wrong, and no half-used compact in the wrong colour.

Your whole base, in a pocket

Applicator nests in the lid. Mirror in the base. Sealed inner seal so it can't dry out or leak. Nothing else to carry — this is the entire base step, done in one hand.

The press test

Watch the
line disappear.

No filter, no cut, no ring light. One press of the dome, then nothing but skin.

Raw footage · no retouch

The routine

Ten seconds.
Then leave.

Four moves. No tools to wash, no base to build, no window of time you have to blend it in.

01

Press the dome

Tap the velvet head straight down into the cushion. Once. It picks up exactly what it needs.

02

Stipple, don't sweep

Four small presses: both cheeks, forehead, chin. Let the curve do the blending for you.

03

Build only where you want

One more press over a spot or under the eyes. It layers without thickening or going flat.

04

Close it and go

Dome back into the lid, compact into your pocket. Nothing left in the sink.

Step 03 — 04

The shade question

One shade,
because it meets you.

Here's the honest answer to the thing you were about to ask. FilterGlow™ isn't one flat beige hoping to be close enough. The pigment sits encapsulated in the fluid until skin warmth and pressure break it, then it settles toward your own undertone rather than covering it.

Which is why it reads sheer on fair skin and warm-neutral on deeper tones, and why the box doesn't need a number on it. You are not matching a shade. It is matching you.

Straight answers

Ask the hard ones.

No. That orange shift happens when cheap iron-oxide pigment reacts with air and sebum through the day. FilterGlow™ uses encapsulated, oxidation-stable pigment that breaks on contact with your skin and then stays put. The shade at 8am is the shade at 8pm. If yours shifts, that's a defect and we replace it.

Really — within a range. It self-adjusts across fair through tan and warm-deep because it's a sheer adaptive fluid, not an opaque cover. If you wear the very deepest end of a foundation range, this reads as a glow-and-blur layer rather than full coverage. We'd rather tell you now than have you return it.

It would be if you never cleaned it — same as any brush. The dome detaches from the handle: mild soap, lukewarm water, once a week, squeeze and air-dry flat. It's flocked velvet, not open-cell foam, so it holds far less product inside itself than a beauty sponge does.

This is the formula for you. It's water-led and hydrating, so it reflects light across texture instead of settling into it. Press, don't drag — dragging is what makes any base cling. On very dry skin, moisturise first and give it sixty seconds to sink in.

It's non-comedogenic and fragrance-light. A dewy finish means oily skin will want a light dust of powder on the T-zone by mid-afternoon. For active breakouts, press an extra layer directly on the spot rather than sweeping more product across your whole face.

Free shipping, dispatched within 24 hours. Typical delivery is 3–7 business days, tracking sent the moment it leaves. If it isn't right for you, you have 30 days — used, half-used, doesn't matter. Message us and we sort it. No restocking fee, no photo evidence, no interrogation.

My boyfriend asked if I'd started sleeping more

Highest compliment makeup has ever gotten from him. I fully expected the one-shade thing to be nonsense and it just… goes on and turns into my skin. Two presses and I'm out the door. My beauty blender has been dry for three weeks.

The mushroom head is not a gimmick

I thought it was a novelty. It's genuinely why this works. Because it's rounded there's no edge to leave a stripe, so you physically can't get that harsh jawline you get with a flat sponge. My hairline and my jaw finally match.

Deeper skin, honest review

Medium-tan with olive undertones and I was sceptical. It doesn't full-cover me and doesn't try to — it evens everything out and gives that lit-from-inside thing. It did not go grey or ashy on me, which is what usually happens. My everyday now.

Dry patches on my cheeks: solved

Every foundation I've owned has sat in the flaky bit next to my nose and made it look worse. This one doesn't. It's wet going on, almost like a serum, and it melts over the texture instead of catching on it. I've stopped noticing my skin at lunchtime.

Lives in my coat pocket now

The whole thing is the size of my palm and the applicator clicks into the lid so nothing rolls loose in my bag. A month in there, opened it upside down more than once, zero leaking. The mirror is actually usable too.

Four stars, one honest note

Love it, wear it daily, but I'm oily and by 4pm my nose is shiny. One press of translucent powder fixes it and it's still better than anything matte I've worn. Not marking it lower because the finish on my cheeks is worth the extra step.

No orange. I checked obsessively.

My last cushion turned me terracotta by lunch, so I photographed my face hourly for two days to catch this one doing the same. It didn't. Same tone at 9pm as when I put it on. That alone was worth it.

Bought it for the packaging, kept it for the formula

I'll admit the green marble lid is what stopped my scroll. But it's the only base I've owned where I don't need to check the mirror afterwards to see if I blended it properly. There's no wrong way to apply it.

New mum, thirty seconds, done

Newborn and no hands. This is the only thing in my routine that survived. Press, press, press, done — and I look like I got sleep I definitely did not get. Washed the dome once, dried overnight, good as new.

Acne-prone and it didn't punish me

Two months in, no new congestion, and pressing an extra layer over a spot actually covers it without going crusty. I expected to break out from a cushion. I didn't. That's the review.

47, and the first base that doesn't age me

Powder foundations have been settling into my lines for years. This sits on top of nothing — it's wet, it goes in, and my skin looks lit rather than coated. Under the eyes especially. I've repurchased twice.

Arrived in four days, sealed properly

Ordered Sunday, tracking Monday, in my hand Thursday. Boxed, inner seal intact, mirror unscratched. Applicator came clean in its own compartment in the lid. No notes on the delivery.
