It is firmer than a washcloth — a cloth that cannot grip cannot lift. The weave shears dead surface skin without breaking live skin, and you control intensity through tension: taut for shins and elbows, slack for chest and neck. Start two or three times a week.
No, and this is the biggest reason to switch. A loofah stores water in thousands of pockets and stays damp for days. This is an open mesh with nothing to hold — wring once, hang it, dry within minutes. Nothing lives in dry nylon.
